New User attempting to new machine using VMServer's .vmdk's

I installed VirtualBox tonight and then added two drives from a VMServer XP machine that I've been using. I then created a New machine [assigned 960mb] and added the two VMServer .vmdk's. When I attempt to start the machine it hung up so I tried again. This time I got the XP OS option and selected safe mode. Now it began booting [replacing a list of drivers], but eventually it just hung again. I pasted the log below [the png just shows XP moving drivers].
Please advise me if there is a better way to migrate a VM Server machine to VirtualBox as I'd like to give it a good workout.
