Virtualbox Win 10 installation is on C: drive, but logs and other files are stored in D: drive. FIX?

Post by phattrance »

So i had my virtualbox installation on my D: drive before and changed it today to C: drive (moved via the virtual media manager section).

The "Win10.vdi" file was moved to C: drive, but the logs and other files are still stored in D: drive, even tho i delete the entire virtualbox folder on D: drive, the virtualbox seems to be creating the folders again with new log files.

How can i make that all files are stored in my C: drive? Ive set the General---> settings --> snapshop folder to C: drive.

First, move the disk back to where it was, undo any other changes you have made, then right-click the guest in the guest list and 'Move' the whole guest to the C drive.
