VirtualBox Running Windows 10 very slow?

I have noticed that with the host Windows 10 and running Windows 10 as guest the performance is slow. I have a pretty good gaming PC, I gave the guest 4 cpu cores and 8GB ram. Is there any options or tweaks to get a better performance?

If you gave the guest the same number of physical cores as the host, then that's usually too much. Windows 10 is happy with 2 cores. More might make the guest slower. Windows 10 also takes a long time to index itself and settle down. Leave it running for a night. If these thoughts don't help, Please zip and post the guest's vbox.log, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

My experience...
I have tried everything. My computers are well powered, one with Ryzen 7 2700X 32Gb, another I7 16Gb
I already have several virtual machines, xp, win7, linux. They work perfectly.
With windows 10, I have not got any configuration that works well, on two different computers.
The host is Linux mint. Last version.
Guest: Windos10 pro, with practically no programs. Without antivirus.
I have imported the machines to the vmware player. and WORKS PERFECTLY.

I have also imported the same windows 10 to Qemu. It is more laborious to configure, but it also works perfectly.
