Crashes at boot-up after a fresh install. Screenshot attached.
I've also had problems where the install process itself repeatedly errored out but I forgot to take a screenshot of this.
The strange thing is this all worked fine until about 2 weeks ago. Win10 is otherwise working OK.
Virtualbox version is 6.1.4 r136177
Debian version used was 10.3 (stable)
Any ideas what is causing this? Could it be faulty RAM?
Laptop has hardware virtualization capability (which is enabled).

Re: Virtualbox is erroring when running Debian VM from Win10 host
Solved. I had "Windows Hypervisor Platform" enabled in Windows features for some reason, possibly was experimenting. Disabling it fixed the Debian VM.
Just curious, is it normal for this feature to clash with Virtualbox? Is there any way both VB and the feature can work without tripping each other up?

Re: Virtualbox is erroring when running Debian VM from Win10 host
Yes. Many newer Windows 10 features use Hyper-V, and Hyper-V throws Virtualbox for a loop. For further info, see I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests and https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/139 ... puter.htmlvbtestout wrote:is it normal for this feature to clash with Virtualbox?
The devs are working on this, but it's not 100% yet.vbtestout wrote:Is there any way both VB and the feature can work without tripping each other up?
