Hello most kind VB Gurus...
I am a student at a tech college and currently at home. I did not have a problem with VB until a few days ago. Is there a kind soul out there that can help me with the following problem?
My OS that VB is install on is a Windows 10 Pro (with more than adequate memory). When I try to open my VB, it opens without the image of the VM in the top right corner of the screen. When I
try to open my Ubuntu VM machine, the error I get is listed below.
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Ubuntu Desktop 18.04LTS.
VMMR0_DO_NEM_INIT_VM failed: VERR_NEM_MISSING_KERNEL_API (VERR_NEM_MISSING_KERNEL_API).
VT-x is not available (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX).
Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component: ConsoleWrap
Interface: IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}
Error VERR_VMX_NO_VMX

Re: VBoxManage not working
@schnackattack, replying to someone else's thread with a different issue is frowned upon in the forums. Use the New Topic button, and list your problem in a new thread, then we'll see what we can do to help.

I moved the hijack thread to its own topic.
Please provide a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in the GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.
