Hi i installed virtual box in windows 7 64-bit and and run kali linux but when i run this i am getting this error message and i searched everything and tried these methods.
1. Enabled virtualization in BIOS settings
2. In windows features on or off there is no option called HYPER-V to disable for me.
3. I updated virtual box extension pack for 64-bit os.
and etc.. but still am getting this error.
The native API dll was not found (C:\Windows\system32\WinHvPlatform.dll) (VERR_NEM_NOT_AVAILABLE).
VT-x is not available (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX).
and in virtual box it is showing "INVALID SETTINGS"
System: Acceleration: page
The hardware virtualization is enabled in the acceleration section of the system page although it is not supported by the host system.
It should be disabled in order to start the virtual system
but in my virtual box there is no option like System=>Acceleration=>Enable VT-x/AMD-v to disable.
Can anyone help me to solve this problem. Thanks in advance and give me solution ASAP it would be great

Please review Scottgus's instruction, which was to ZIP and ATTACH the log file, not truncate and paste.

Re: VT-x is not available
Well, VirtualBox doesn't seem to think that your laptop supports VT-x or AMD-v. Unfortunately the log cuts out without giving CPU information, and you have not given any information about the host PC. The log does say :-00:00:07.818886 WARNING! 64-bit guest type selected but the host CPU does NOT support HW virtualization.

From looking this up it seems to resolve to Hasee, a manufacturer of affordable laptops in the Indian region. I can't find CPU info on it.00:00:07.330957 DMI Product Name: HEC41

Re: VT-x is not available
It does not support VT-x
https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en ... 0-ghz.html
And, according to this topic, 64-bit VMs will not work.

You can try x86 version of Kali, not sure, if it will change anything, tho.

Re: VT-x is not available
Please read the FAQ: FAQ: I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests.
With no VT-x/AMD-v you cannot create 64bit VMs, nor VMs which use >1 vCPU (or with >4GB RAM, but that wouldn't be practical on this host anyway).
Nor can you use VirtualBox 6.1.x, which has abandoned support for CPUs which don't have VT-x/AMD-v. You would have to revert to 6.0.x.
