6.1.0 Extensions Changed Display Settings

Just upgraded to 6.1.0 and installed the extensions in my VMs (I have about 6 of these, all Win 10 guests), I got a configuration error telling me that the default video settings should be VBoxSVGA instead of VBoxVGA. I'm pretty sure that is how the machines were configured under 6.0.14. These were easily reset, but why would the new extensions change the video settings in the first place?

O.N.

VboxVGA with 3D acceleration is removed, because that setup is a highway-size security-hole.

VboxSVGA (for Windows guests) and VMSVGA (for Linux guests) with 3D acceleration is the replacement (note the S). VboxVGA (no S) is still available, but with no 3D acceleration.
