[NotSupported] *New* 256Mb minimum requirement for Video Memory to enable DX

Hi,
Host: Ubuntu 19.10
Till versions 6.0 I had no problem to enable DX support (Guest Additions) on Windows XP guest. Now on V6.1 the checkbox to enable DIrexctX support is grayed out. Seems that there is a new requeriment set to 256 Mb minimum for video memory. This can be changed? My Video Card has only 128Mb.
Regards.

FTFY. 6.1.x will cover a lot of .x's after a while, we need to know which .x, and .0 is the .x for this post.
Correct. For the time being, XP under 6.1.0 has no 3D acceleration. 3D acceleration will be available with Guest Additions in Window 7 & later guests for now, maybe back-ported to Vista & XP later (no one knows if or when).
You can stay on the 6.0.x branch, the developers tend to keep updating under major branches for a while.

Not true. Not sure why you thought that this was a requirement.

Your real/physical GPU has absolutely nothing to do with your virtual GPU. You could have 1 Byte or you could have 1 TB in your real/physical GPU, it wouldn't matter.
