[Resolved] win7-64 guest install ends up being a 32 bit guest.

My win7 64/32 DVD installs fine natively on either a Dell m6800 or System76 AdderWS.
But, on either machine, the same DVD installs in VM as 32 bit. In either case, I never know which it is until I look at the system in the control panel..
I was careful when setting up the VM that the 64bit Windows 7 is chosen from the list, tried it many times.
I come here wondering if this problem is familiar to anyone, without having to give much detail, but I would be glad to supply a log file if someone can tell me where to find it.
My host is Mint 19.2 64 Cinnamon.

Guess: sometimes you have something else running that uses VT-x, therefore the VM is 32bit, therefore your adaptable installer installs the 32bit version.
Why install so many times at all? Why not simply clone from a template?

Can I see a pic of that, the selection step? We also need to see a
complete VBox.log, from a
complete VM run, where the problem occurs:
- Start the VM from cold-boot (not from a paused or saved state) / Observe or recreate the problem / Shutdown the VM (force close it if you have to).
- With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
- Save only the first "VBox.log", ZIP it and attach it to your response. See the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form.

Thanks for your fast response... could you please tell me about VT-x ?
Tried many times expecting a different result... I must be mad, yeah, that's it.
A pristine template is what I am ultimately after, and using it for only select applications, like Alibre Cad Expert, that require it.

Much thanks for the tip on VT-x.... looked it up and read vBox manual about it. That must have been the issue, glad to know that my problem had already been paved on the knowledge highway.
I am successfully installing winXP64, and win7-64, and loading the important apps that require windows, while my new beautiful host (System76 AdderWS) runs Mint Linux 19.2 Cinnamon.
Thanks, guys...
