gentoo upgrade and critical error failure

ive upgraded virtualbox to 1.6.6 and the VM now fails.
cant say I understand the logs, but heres the output:

The log stopped. It's too long for the forum, please use pastebin instead.
What are the settings of the VM and what is your Host? Please see the
Forum Posting Guide and give some more information.

Sorry - not sure how much of this is a gentoo-specific issue and how much virtualbox
