VirtualBox on Windows Session Error

I am a student using VirtualBox for some of my classes. I had no issues with it up until about a week ago, when I tried to update VirtualBox to version 6.0.14 from 6.0.12. After the update, I am no longer able to start a session for any of my virtual machines. I receive the following error message:
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Windows Server 2016 Desktop.

Call to WHvSetupPartition failed: ERROR_SUCCESS (Last=0xc000000d/87) (VERR_NEM_VM_CREATE_FAILED).

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component: ConsoleWrap
Interface: IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}
I have tried several things to try to fix it as well as read through multiple forums but nothing is working. I have deleted all of the machines that I no longer need to free up space, deleted and reinstalled both 6.0.14 and 6.0.12, adjusted Hyper-V in my computer BIOS, and ran bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off in my command prompt. Nothing has worked so far, so any further advice would be much appreciated!

Please go thoroughly through the FAQ: I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests. Remember that these are just guidelines, you have to use your judgement...

Focus on the 2nd and 3rd posts. And make sure that you don't have fast-reboot enabled on Windows.
