Display resolution and saved status issues

on my windows 10 client i'm virtualizing windows 10 on vbox
in vm i have setted display resolution to 1024 x 768 when i save the state, when i reopen the vm the resolution returns to 640 x480, so if rechange the resolution to 1024 x 768 when i restart, is gives me guru meditation error, i must shutdown the vm and then the vm starts well.
this happen every time i save the state of vm
this trouble don't happened on windows xp
