I found that windows xp64 guest will always have 100% cpu load even it is sitting idle on virtualbox 2.0.2, Can this be improved?
For comparison, that for 32-bit xp guest is about 10% during idle.

Also video driver from window addition for xp64 only has 800x600 resolution.

I'm seeing the same thing here. Don't know if it can be improved, though. I've just completed a fresh install from DVD, and am now in the process of applying Service Pack 2.

As far as the resolution goes, try increasing the amount of video memory you have allocated to the VM from the default 8MB. I'm using 32MB and running at 1280x1024x32. I've not installed the guest additions yet, though.

Update: After applying Service Pack 2, the CPU utilization problem appears to be much better. I'd suggest you try that, if you haven't done so already.
