With the USB 3.0 (xHCI) Controller enabled in the guest settings, I tried to install the Intel(R)_USB_3.0_eXtensible_Host_Controller_Driver_5.0.4.43_v2 driver on the W7 guest, but when I ran setup, it returned: "Encountered Error: This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software.".

At this point I'm going to try this on my laptop which is running Win10. At least I will know whether the W7 host is the cause for the issues I encountered with the Linux, WXP, and W7 guests.
