mouse is not captured

Post by jmvelasco »

Hello,

I have a Vista virtualized under an Ubuntu/Linux hardy.

The problem is the mouse is not captured, but the keyboard it is. Both are USB.

The mouse icon shows disabled.

Any guide ?¿

Thanks in advance.

This is the last lines from dmesg output.

Yes, upgrade to 1.6.6 or 2.0.2 PEUL Edition.

I did it, I have installed xVM 2.02 but VB can't catch my mouse yet. Neither the network.

I get this error when i try to config the machine:

Could not load the Host USB Proxy Service (VERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND). The service might be not installed on the host computer.

I've installed the most recently .deb file found for ubuntu hardy. It is xVM 2.0.2

The Log file could be checked in this paste: http://rafb.net/p/33rhRr86.html

I am trying to find the FIX googling, but if any of you know how to fix I will appreciate whatever tip.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi again,

As you can see in the image http://tazz.in/~amimusa/xvm.jpg

The mouse is not enabled

I have xVM running on my own laptop and I didn't find this problem before.

Please, any idea ?¿

Thanks in advance

What happens if you click inside the Guest window? It should grab the mouse. You can also try to reset all warning messages so you see them again. Then click inside the Guest, tick the checkbox and it should grab it. Clicking on a different window in the Host so the VM loses focus and click inside the Guest can help too.
