Ubuntu 8.04 32bit Intel
Virtual Box 2.0
I have been experiencing a crash when trying to install a new machine. The following is what I do to get to the point where VB crashes.
I go to create a new machine -> OS Type "XP" -> Base Memory size "192 or 512" -> Hard Disk "new" -> "Dynamic or Fixed" -> "next"
After I hit the last next button about %80-95 of my ram instantly starts being used by VB and about a minute later virtual box just closes. I searched around the open bug section but didn't find anything, if I missed something please let me know. If this is something new I would like to help out, I'm not sure what the next step would be but if someone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

There are a couple of known memory leaks in 2.0 which cause it to exhaust memory and crash. I've given up and gone back to 1.6.6 (which is stable) until 2.0.2 comes out. (Read the 1.6.6 announcement in the first forum for how to do this.) Hopefully this will address the worst instabilities.
