Skype Meetings Windows App not working with VBoxSVGA

Host = Linux RHEL 7.6
Guest = Windows 10 1903
VirtualBox 6.0.12
Skype Meetings App = 16.2.0.511

Symptom = all is white:

• text is white on white background on the initial Skype App window where we have to type our user name before connecting (can select it and show it though)
• after connecting, video is totally white, nothing shows
• worse, the call ends very quickly

When using VBoxVGA, all works well.
Looks like VBoxSVGA is not yet at the level of VBoxVGA ... .. but when setting VBoxVGA, we now have a message saying it will be dropped in 6.1 !

No error in VBox.log
In Skype App error log, there are messages "AudioVideoUI, Component failed to start" and "AudioVideoUI, Failed to load VideoUI plugin component"

Anything you want me to get from somewhere else ?

(Note: before you ask, VMSVGA is not useable, the Windows desktop is all in grey - no color -, with minimum resolution like old VGA, and no 2D nor 3D acceleration)

Are you even testing 6.1.0 beta? If not, don't panic, we're not there yet. And as far as I can remember, no one has forced anyone to to upgrade to the not-yet-existent 6.1.0, so please don't make a mountain out of a molehill.

Have you searched for similar issues? Skype is a really demanding application and has several tickets and threads open already.

Anything you want me to get from somewhere else ?

Try with the latest 6.1.0b1 (Development builds) and see if you have any issues.

With VirtualBox-6.0-6.1.0_BETA1_133703_el7-1.x86_64 it seems to work a little better, Skype sessions appear to stay called (I couldn't test a lot), however it still has the problem of white text on white background (all working fine with VBoxVGA).

However, I cannot do more tests with this beta, it fails on VM saves with VBoxSVGA (state is Aborted) .. so this build is not exploitable for me.
