Hi,
I just wanted to install Windows 10, but it crashes into guru meditation a few seconds after start, while reading from the virtual disc boot image.
Host:
lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS
Release: 18.04
Codename: bionic
uname -a
Linux pspc01 4.15.0-62-generic #69-Ubuntu SMP Wed Sep 4 20:55:53 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
The log is attached. I tried adjusting various settings, but the error remains the same.
Upgrade to VirtualBox 6.0.12 didn't helped.
Thanks for any hint.

Re: Guru Meditation: VINF_EM_TRIPLE_FAULT
Update the VirtualBox Extension Pack to match the version of VirtualBox. I don't know if it has anything to do with your problem, but it is a prerequisite for a working setup.NicolasK wrote:Thanks for any hint.

Thank you for this hint.
For different reasons I tried it today from a different system (where I updated the extension pack, so it may have helped to the other system as well) and here it worked.
