Hi,
Have been using VirtualBox on Linux Mint for many years to develop .net websites on a Windows 10 guest. Today I had a windows update immediately followed by a VB upgrade with associated Guest Additions and Extensions. Now I get things like the Windows task bar background missing, Brave (or Chrome) browser address bar totally screwed (hopefully I can attach a screenshot).
The details are:-
Host: Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon, Kernel 4.15.0-62-generic, NVidia GPU Quadro K1100M, VB: Version 6.0.12 r133076 (Qt5.6.1)
Guest: Windows 10.0.18362
When I upgraded VB I was warned to switch from VBoxVGA to VBoxSVGA which I did, then ran guest additions.
Previous versions going many years back have been solid as a rock so not sure what's happened here.
Any advice on fixing this would be appreciated, or is it a bug?
Regards,
Craig

Re: Display anomalies after upgrade
As well as previously mentioned, many Windows items are just black boxes (see screenshot). I'm at a loss as to where to look and I can't work any more. Please help.

Craig

The Test builds page is the place to keep an eye on things to improve. And if you want to get updates (as humanly possible) for when the Testbuilds get an update, subscribe to the Test builds updates.craig100 wrote:I'm at a loss as to where to look and I can't work any more
