Hello everyone,

Anyone else noticed that the mega.nz desktop client can't write to virtualbox shared folders?

Downloads fail with a simple "error" and no details. I've tried a few workarounds but eventually I didn't manage to make it work.

VirtualBox shared folders allow simple exchange of files between guest and host. They don't always work for more complex uses (such as holding a file open for writing for an extended time). If you want to do something more complex then configure a true network share instead.

This doesn't look like a step-by-step set of instructions to help us recreate the problem. If I gave you that sentence, would you be able to replicate the error? I seriously doubt it...

When reporting a problem, always provide a detailed step-by-step "How to replicate", otherwise the post is not that useful I'm afraid...
