VBox 2.0.0 on Win 2k

Post by poncho524 »

Has anyone had success in running 2.0.0 on Win2k?

i was able to install and run 1.6.6 without a problem. but at first try of 2.0.0 as soon as i'd try to start a VM it would crash saying something about a kernel driver.

any thoughts?

Windows 2000 Host systems are no longer supported. The reasons are, like you experienced, the kernel module, new processor options (AMD-v, VT-x) that aren't supported and a few other reasons. Support was suspended since 1.6.0.
