Hi All,
I am running an XP guest under Parallels for Linux. I am going to be shortly
pulling the plug on Parallels (too buggy, bad tech support).
Is there a way for me to migrate it to Virtual Box? Or, do I have to start over?
Many thanks,
-T
how do I migrate xp guest from parallels?

Hi Tod again!! A slight variant on my my All about VDIs GParted strategy. Have a browse of for Clonezilla LiveCD. Setup two VMs one a clonzilla liveCD boot in Parallels with your source system, one in VBox with a blank VDI. Then do a disk-to-disk clone. You've now got your parallels HDD on VDI. You need to remove the Parallels GA equivalent and especially if its a Windows guest, muck around with the driver chain in System Properties, but you should be able to get it to work.
