USB not available on Fedora9 x64 host

Post by Tuxfed »

Didn't work with VB 1.6, does not work with VB 2.0

Kernel: 2.6.25.14-108.fc9.x86_64

Guest: XP Pro Sp2

USB devices are configured and activated (checked) in the USB tab of the guest setup window. I don't see any error message or warning on VB startup.

When I click on "Devices > USB Devices" I can see USB devices connected to the computer, but they are dimmed (disabled).

I know that there is a tweak for that but I Have check in the forum and never see a post specific to Fedora.

Thanx in advance

Please see the manual and your Distro's documentation if you need to change some settings on the Host to get USB working. For Ubuntu Hosts you need to change a few things before USB works.
