GA display driver fails to start on Windows guest

Running Windows 10 64bit guest on Ubuntu 19.04 host. After setting up a Windows guest with 3D acceleration, guest resizing does not work and the Windows notification bar complains that the display driver crashed and its using the Microsoft Base Display Driver (or some such).

Installing Windows 10 64bit guest without 3D acceleration works fine.

See attached VM log.

What is wrong and how can I fix it?

00:00:11.608364 VirtualBox VM 6.0.6_Ubuntu r129722 linux.amd64 (Apr 16 2019 22:08:12) release log
This site supports VirtualBox exclusively, not forks, i.e. not third party builds from the open sources. Come back to us if you can show the same problem with a genuine install of VirtualBox.

Weirdly, you do seem to be trying to use the kosher GAs with the knock-off version of VirtualBox. I assume you somehow downloaded the GAs separately. Don't do that with the genuine article: always use the GAs that come bundled with the software.
