Windows 7 BSOD when accessing shared folder

Post by pjhutch45 »

I have updated the Guest tools on a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit VM. Tools v6.0.10.
Now when I try to access sub folders in a shared folder, it crashes with a BSOD error, does a memory dump and reboots. It has not done this before, so it may be a bug.
The folder contains programs / installers etc.
Log enclosed.

BSOD Error:
IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE

Stop 0x0000004A

I was also occuring on my other VMs including Windows 8.1 - the screen shrinks briefly and then reboots.
So I have removed VirtualBox 6.0.10 and reverted back to v6.0.8 and reverted Guests tools as well to 6.0.8 and shares are working ok now.
