Cloned Win10 VM Slower Than Source

Source win10 VM runs perfectly.
Cloned it, and the new VM runs really slow or is unresponsive.
Most of the unresponsiveness is on webpages when dealing with dropdown boxes or basic web functions.
Normally use FF for browsing but I'm also seeing the same behavior in Chrome.

No other VMs are running
Upped the RAM and procs
Updated the Windows power settings

Host system:
14 core xeon proc
16gb ram
Storage: NVMe for OS and SSD for data

Instead of asking for speculation, did you think to look in the guest task list and see for yourself where the CPU hog is?

You already have a big clue - it sounds network related, so it's likely going to be a MAC conflict or something like that.

Did you change anything at all about the VM? RAM amount, machine name, graphics controller, network controller? Why does the VM need to exist if it's identical to the first?

Please ensure that you attach a zipped VM log if you want to continue this discussion.

If you copy a Word document, does the copy get slower too? Because that makes as much sense. The only realistic causes of such behaviour were already outlined above, otherwise a clone is just some copied files.
