BSOD Vista 32bit with VT/X

Post by bb83 »

After Installation I get a BSOD each time starting Vista

Host:
Current Archlinux 64bit
Q6600
8Gb Ram

BSOD Error: pfn_list_corrupt
Tested Vista 32bit Business and Starter.
Only works when deactivating VT/X.
For example 2k3 R2 Sp2 works fine with VT/X

Thanks, but this is a known bug.

Thx for the fast response! So it's not possible to use Vista32 bit with Vt/x in 2.0 ? On Linux 64bit Host.

It is possible to use Vista32 bit with VT/x on a Linux 64bit Host with the latest stable release, 1.6.6, so why go to 2.0 if it is known to have stability problems?

VirtualBox 2.0 released!
Today is a significant day in the history of VirtualBox. The brand new version 2.0 comes with major enhancements such as 64-bit VMs, stronger networking capabilities and a native Mac OS X interface. See the change log and check out the press release for the full story.
Can't read the word unstable or beta ;)
Just tested Vista64, seems to work. So this will be my workaround
