No USB port detected in kubuntu 8.04 using virtualbox 2.0

Hello.
My virtual box installation do no detect any of the usb port that i used.
My host machine is a kubuntu 8.04 64 bits and virtual box 2.0.

any help?

VBox Version: VirtualBox+Oracle ExtPack
Guest OSses: Windows XP, Windows 7, Linux
Location: /dev/random

We need more info. Did you enable the USB settings in the Guest settings dialog? Do you have set a filter for the devices you want to use? Did you do the USB patch needed for Ubuntu and other Linux distro's? See the Manual for more USB related issues. The VirtualBox FAQ can also help.
