Using mint 19.1 on Dell xps13 (HDPI). The text in the VB windows is just so small that I have to use a magnifying glass just to read them. If I manage to get a VM running then the text in the VM is fine. The text on other apps is fine and same with the desktop. I just can't get the text (menus etc) in VB to be anything other then micro print!.It was fine in previous versions. But now not at all.
Has anyone any ideas (sensible ones please not 'get a new laptop etc').
It has always been a problem using a UHDMI display with some programs but until recently VB was not one of them. Now it is just so hard to use.

They've tried to work on the HiDPI front, with mixed results. I too have a Mint19 host, but on a non-HiDPI monitor and it works as it should. And no, there are no workarounds, switches or tricks at the moment, AFAIK...

Not really, no. Your best option is to keep on trying new Test builds and see if the problem gets fixed...
