Looking into an issue I seem to be having.
I have a windows 10 host. Dell XPS 13 running VB 6.0.6
Windows 10 Guest
3 screens - laptop and 2 24" HD screens.
I use the Windows 10 Guest to RDP into my work Laptop also running Windows 10.
I have all 3 monitors set to 1920x1080 and the Guest LT screen is manageable(slightly) off, but the (2) 24" screens the fonts and graphics are distorted, fuzzy.
Now if I don't use VB and RDP to my work laptop from my Windows 10 host, all 3 screens are crisp and clear and all set to 1920x1080.
Why the difference between VB and NON VB? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
FYI: I used the VM because my work place disables split tunneling when I connect to the VPN. This way they lock up the VM but my Host is still free to access the internet.
Win 10 Host Win 10 VB RDP to Win10 system screen resolution issues
Re: Win 10 Host Win 10 VB RDP to Win10 system screen resolution issues
Returned the DELL XPS 13 and now have an XPS 15.
I am still seeing the same issues.
From Host --> RDP to windows 10 machine. 3 screens 1920x1080, -- displays are clear characters not fuzzy.
FROM HOST --> VirtualBox 6.0.6 VM --> RDP to same Windows 10 machine --> Display is not clear, fonts are fuzzy.
I have tried both VboxVGA and VboxSVGA modes -- no difference.
running latest guest additions.
Any ideas would be appreciated?

Re: Win 10 Host Win 10 VB RDP to Win10 system screen resolution issues
posting an update on my testing.
if I close the lid on my laptop and only use the 2 external monitors 1920x1080 for the VM and then RDP to the windows machine the displays are crisp and clear.
so...'
1. HOST --> RDP to windows 10 --- 3 monitors 1920x1080 = displays/text IS crisp and clear. (monitors are 1. Laptop, 2. External 24" 3. External 24")
2. HOST --> VirtualBox VM --- RDP to windows 10 -- 3 monitors 1920x1080 = displays/text is NOT crisp but fuzzy. (monitors are 1. Laptop, 2. External 24" 3. External 24")
3. HOST --> VirtualBox VM -- RDP to windows 10 -- 2 monitors 1920x1080 = displays are crisp and clear (monitors are 1. Laptop (LID CLOSED) , 2. External 24" 3. External 24")
Anyone have any suggestions on why the #2 doesn't work with 3 monitors whereas #3 will work with 2 external monitors and LID closed on laptop.
