Hello, I've recently intstalled Windows 2000 onto Virtualbox 6, and I've followed some internet connection problem topics, most of which helped, but this one seems weird. Whenever I open Firefox ESR 10.0.7, sometimes when I open some websites, the system crashes and is forced to reboot.
I'm on a Mid 2011 Mac with High Sierra on it. The Mac has 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 memory and the guest has default settings.
Any info will help. Thanks!

Yeah, and the weird part is that it actually works!spongbib wrote:but this one seems weird
It's a miracle that it still works on some sites!!!spongbib wrote:sometimes when I open some websites, the system crashes and is forced to reboot.
What are you trying to prove with a 20 year old OS? That it fails? Of course it will, what did you expect? Some the sites have a problem with Firefox 52.9.0esr, see No internet for a WinXP guest.
I'll try to see what works with W2K and Firefox, and maybe I'll update and expand the article above, to include W2K and even lower maybe. It seems that Firefox 28 might work with W2K, but I'll have to see for myself...
