VirtualBox Extension pack install error

Hi,

when i am trying to install virtualbox extension pack, i get this error
Failed to install the Extension Pack D:/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-6.0.4.vbox-extpack.

The installer failed with exit code 1: VBoxExtPackHelperApp.exe: error: argv[0] does not match the executable image path: 'I:VBoxExtPackHelperApp.exe' != 'I:\VBoxExtPackHelperApp.exe'.

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component: ExtPackManagerWrap
Interface: IExtPackManager {70401eef-c8e9-466b-9660-45cb3e9979e4}
How can i solve this?

What is drive D: on your system? Try to install it from a subdirectory / folder and not from the root of a drive.

We found the bug in Virtualbox (triggered by installing it in the root directory of a drive on Windows). Will be fixed in 5.2.34 and 6.0.14.
