Hello, I finally got VB to work properly (Linux-Host to WIN7-Guest) networking, but my next problem concerns USB-devices of my Linux-host. One laser-printer is connected to my router FritzBox7272-USB which works nicely within the guest. But the two wanted devices on my host: Inkjet-printer (Canon-Pixma) and an Epson-Scanner don't show in the USB-Filters, so I can't address them.

explains a lot, but doesn't solve the problem, since the devices don't show up!
Extension-Pack was installed, USB 3.0 is on. Guest-Additions are installed & work well.
Is there any help or hint available? I'd be very grateful!

Found out (Google) that I need the group vboxusers in the groups - and I must be a member of this group.
In terminal:
sudo usermod -a -G vboxusers username
password
restart

Afterwards all Host-Devices in USB were available... like printer and scanner and Webcam. Scanner works well with VueScan.
Only to realize that OmnipagePro16 is incompatible to WIN7 (needs Vista) and can't be re-activated; shame on NUANCE software!
But VirtualBox in Linux-Mint-Host works well with WIN7(32) and WordPerfect X3; quite a success!
