Host: 10.13.6 - VirtualBox 6.04
Trying to install 10.14.0 as guest.
USB setting is USB 2, no filters.
The install process goes to the Mojave first dialog (Languages) but the mouse is blocked in the top left corner.
As I clic on one of the languages in the list, the Capture dialog occurs.
Clicking Capture makes the mouse unusable either in the guest or the host : forced to quit VirtualBox.
Thanks for your help.

You need to enable USB3 in the VM settings.JoTaPe wrote:USB setting is USB 2, no filters.
The "Capture" dialog is part of you being new to VirtualBox. If you read it and understandd it, click the "Do not show this message again".JoTaPe wrote:As I clic on one of the languages in the list, the Capture dialog occurs.
I need to see a complete VBox.log, from a complete VM run, where the problem occurs:
- Start the VM from cold-boot (not from a paused or saved state) / Observe problem / Shutdown the VM (force close it if you have to).
- With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
- Save only the first "VBox.log", ZIP it and attach it to your response.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

Thanks for the reply.
I will revise all the installation process with the last version of RunMojaveVirtualBox.
I have used an old one (Oct. 2018).

I'm sorry, I just noticed that part, I missed it the first time, mea culpa...JoTaPe wrote:Trying to install 10.14.0 as guest.
10.14.x is NOT supported as a guest.

Re: Can't start Mojave VM install : mouse blocked
Nice !!!
But the problem is that in October, I succeeded in installing the same Mojave 14.0 with the Alex's script and VBox 5.2.20.
I attach the list of my Vdisks at that time.
I will stop the experiment for a while; see you soon

You should talk to "Alex" then, not here. VirtualBox doesn't officially support 10.14.x because the EFI that's included with VirtualBox does not support APFS, the filesystem that's used in 10.14.xJoTaPe wrote:But the problem is that in October, I succeeded in installing the same Mojave 14.0 with the Alex's script and VBox 5.2.20.
