We need to see a complete VBox.log, from a complete VM run, where the problem occurs:
  • Start the VM from cold-boot (not from a paused or saved state) / Observe problem / Shutdown the VM (force close it if you have to).
  • With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
  • Save only the first "VBox.log", ZIP it and attach it to your response. See the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form.

Thank you for that, and thanks for actually trying to DnD a file so that it would show in the log:
00:00:19.151616 VMMDev: Guest Log: DnD: Got 1 file(s), fUnicode=true
00:00:19.151643 VMMDev: Guest Log: DnD: Adding guest file 'C:\Documents and Settings\usuario\Escritorio\Nuevo Documento de texto.txt'
00:00:19.672592 VMMDev: Guest Log: DnD: Processing message 102 failed with VERR_INVALID_HANDLE
I always disable DnD on all of my guests, mainly because it can be finicky. I try other means of passing data back and forth, such as Shared Folders, or simply network shares. So I never got a chance to see that...

But, I enabled it for my WinXP VM to test it out and I get the same thing. And we're not the only ones. See ticket #18305 Drag and Drop - ErrorCode VBOX_E_IPRT_ERROR. I added the ticket to the "Known Issues" section of the "Discuss the 6.0.0 release" and I added my comments/findings on the ticket as well. I suggest you add a comment to the ticket, which auto-subscribes you so that you can follow the ticket's progress...
