Windows XP no longer restores saved machine state after 6.0.4 update "The exception Breakpoint"

This is the error I get
- virtualbox error save state xp.png (22.65 KiB) Viewed 1134 times
Host: Windows 10 host 64bit 1803 home
Guest: Windows XP
Saved session state always fails, otherwise the vm works fine, and has so for years.
Change happened sometime since the last 2 updates, I skipped an update before the last one.

No it doesn't.
Please attach the image locally in your response (see the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form). Not a lot of people will go to 3rd party sites. Plus, it's more convenient if the image goes along with the message...

ah, updated, the eye isn't naturally drawn down there, and the usual forum img tags are still in the editor.

There is a known issue with restoring saved states under certain circumstances under VirtualBox 6.0.x. See the discussion

#18265 Win7 in VB 6.0.0 fails on resume on 97% for more details and some workarounds you can try.

Ah ok thanks, that is exactly the issue.
