No shared folder in Windows 10 Insider guest

Post by wroot »

I can't remember exactly when it started. Maybe after some Insider build update (4-5 builds ago) or maybe after VirtualBox update, but i don't have shared folder anymore. I have setup it with Full access and Auto mount. Every time i updated to a new Insider build in the past there were no shared folder until i updated guest additions. Then shared folder would appear again. Now it doesn't. Windows 7 x64 host. Latest Insider build, latest VirtualBox (6.0.4).

Couldn't see anything wrong in the log. I guess you'll have to wait for an update.

Shared folder appeared after some time after a few Insider build updates. I guess it was some issue on Windows 10 side.
