Using a VPN

I am running WIN XP as a guest on a WIN XP host. On the host, I use the Cisco VPN to connect to a network, but when I do that, I can't access the Internet within the guest OS.
I looked at the documentation for networking, but I still can't get it right. Does anyone know how I can use the Cisco VPN on my host and still be able to access the Internet on the guest OS?

This certainly won't work if you are using NAT since with NAT the VBox VMM just acts as a normal application as far the networking is concerned, and CISCO VPN redirects all traffic through the VPN (except where you have configured local exceptions). I don't know how CISCO deals with a bridged network. You can only try and see what happens.

I have the same problem, but my guest is Ubuntu and my VPN client is Nortel. I would really appreciate some help.
