Hi there,
I have several Win10 guest systems, recovered from physical machines on a Win10 Host with the latest VB6. Latest Guest Additions are installed.
Whatever I do, after booting, they changing the resolution to a more or less random values. So every time I start them, I have to reconfigure the resolution settings. Even if I'm playing with the values in the .vbox file, the issue is still there. As I haven't found any other question regarding this issue, I believe that this is either a problem with pre-installed graphic drivers on the guests. Is that possible? Does anyone else have a similar problem? Is there a way to set a specific resolution as persistent setting?
Thanks
chiller

Re: Win10 Guest does not restart with the latest configured resolution
I would think that it's the previous resolutions used by Windows, values that were valid, and at some point stored in the registry. I don't know where these values would be stored, this is more of a Windows question...da.chiller wrote:I believe that this is either a problem with pre-installed graphic drivers on the guests
