Problem accessing folder with XP on Linux Host

Hello,
I'll give you a big picture of what I am trying to accomplish.
Firstly, I dual-boot (Vista x64/Ubuntu
. I am interested in learning Linux, but the only way I can realistically do that is to use it everyday (I don't have much "play-time". In order to do this, I need to be able to run the Office 2007 suite (required for school).
So, I am running virtualbox to run XP, on which I installed Office 2007. I have a Shared Folder, which I set up w/VirtualBox. Subsequently, I went back into Vista and moved my "Documents" folder into the folder I specified as the Shared Folder in my Virtualbox XP install...this way, I can make changes to files whether I am in Ubuntu running XP on virtualbox, or if I'm in Vista.
I ran into a problem while setting up OneNote though. I tried to set my saved notebook, to the notebook that exists already in my Documents folder. It says that I do not have access and i need to contact an administrator.
I have fully shared all folders to my current Linux user.
Any help?
