Trying to install Guest additions 6.0.0 to VB 6.0.0 r 127566 on Windows 10 Pro X64 18305.1003 1809.
VBoxDrvInst.exe hangs between 5% and 10%. No error message, it just hangs.
Task Manager shows it Running with 00 CPU and 1,152K Memory.

Anyone else seen this?

Yes, it's the latest, and doing more reading it seems it's causing problems with VMWARE and Hyper-V so probably the cause of my Oracle VB problem. I'm dropping back to the previous version, 18305.1000 1809. Oracle VB Guest Editions installed OK there. I'll post results when done.

Unfortunately, there's no "Windows pre-releases Guests", otherwise I'd move it there. Interesting that all of the virtualizers have an issue...

The problem is not with Windows 10, it's with Oracle VB 6.0. I dropped back to Win 10 17763.195 1809 which is the October 2018 1809 re-release and it still had serious issues, including severe hangs and delays, making the VM totally unusable.

I then uninstalled VB 6.0 and installed 5.2.2, removed the Win 10 VM and created a new one using the same .vdi and it runs great. so there is definitely a problem with Oracle VB 6.0.0-127566 and Windows 10. I'm running on Windows 10 17763.195 1809.

What info or debugging can I provide to help figure this out.

You'll have to wait a little bit more due to the holiday vacation, but I'm sure the devs will ask for it by name, if they haven't already seen the "weirdness".

I'm now running Windows 10 Insider build 18305.1000 1809, with Guest Editions under Oracle VB 5.2.22 r126460 and everything is working great. Shared folders, clipboard and drag and drop all working.

So definitely some kind of problem with running Oracle VB 6.0 on a Win 10 17763.195 1809 host. I'll wait for instructions on how to proceed.
