[Resolved] Can no longer find Guest Additions on the site
Has GA been replaced by another procedure? I'm trying to create shared folders for Windows on an OS X host. Thanks a bunch.

Re: Can no longer find Guest Additions on the site
Guest Additions were never "on the site", i.e. a separate download. They have always been included in the standard download. Stop overthinking things, just select "Device|Insert Guest Additions CD..." while the Windows guest is running.
Re: Can no longer find Guest Additions on the site
Thanks for the tip. I've tried the approach you've suggested, to no avail. I'll give it another shot.
Re: Can no longer find Guest Additions on the site
Actually, the error message reads as follows:

I have no idea on how to resolve this.Unable to insert the virtual optical disk /Applications/VirtualBox.app/Contents/MacOS/VBoxGuestAdditions.iso into the machine Windows.
Could not mount the media/drive '/Applications/VirtualBox.app/Contents/MacOS/VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' (VERR_PDM_DRIVER_NOT_FOUND).

Re: Can no longer find Guest Additions on the site
I would like to see the "recipe" of the VM, the ".vbox" file:
- Right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager. Select "Show in Finder/Explorer/Whatever".
- ZIP the selected ".vbox" file and attach it to your response.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

Re: Can no longer find Guest Additions on the site
Thank you all,
I have managed to resolve my issue. I was unable to see GA as an attachment to my SATA controller. Unfortunately, I had to burn that virtual machime down. The up side is that I use the VM to run only one program. In building a new VM, I was able to ensure that GA was attached to the SATA controller. Problem solved.
