Hey i use Ubuntu and Vista is already installed, and right now I dual boot but can I use vista in virtualbox without redownloading vista into the virtualbox?

It can be done but there are a load of issues which make this not an easy task for the non-expert. The VBox VMM presents a simple standard virtual machine to the guest OS. This is a bit like taking your Vista HDD and putting it in a 5 year-old PC with 5 year-old I/O chipsets (albeit with a Gb of RAM and a fast uni-processor CPU) and trying to get it to work without reinstalling the OS.
