Hello, I am writing here because I am having errors on my VM. I have been running a VM for sometime with a previous iMac 27" running high Sierra. I have had no problems with it. I recently changed my computer and I am now using a iMac 27" again. Here are the specs for the iMac am having the problem with:
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017)
Processor: 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Graphics: Radeon Pro 570 4096 MB
Storage: 1TB fusion drive.
the windows 7 vm has 3 cpus, 4096 memory . I was hosting it on my external SSD with is 1 tb ( Samsung T5 portable ssd). when ever I am downloading something or type in a webpage and it loads the mouse freezes and lags for 30 seconds sometimes more. It would seem that the VM would need more memory but it has a lot. am not sure of what to include here that may help. I also changed from the SSD and used my Mac to keep the files and its the same thing.
