This probably have been asked before, however, I am running VBox 5.2.22 on Mac High Sierra. I need to do some recordings and need to use an external mic. Currently the external mic is detected on my Mac, and what appears to be on my USB filter list as well. The problem is that I am unable to use the external mic on Vbox. It is only picking up the internal Mac mic.
Anyone had this issue and found a solution? The extension are installed as well.

VirtualBox uses the default input/output of your sound settings. Set your external mic as the default one and you should be all set to go.
