I get this message when trying to boot from PCLogin Now in the virtualbox it is based on linux. I can however boot the cd on my real machine.

mount: Mounting /dev/loop0 on /newroot failed: Invalid argument

Please give more information, use the Forum Posting Guide for help. Do you have an ISO file with it? Use that file instead of the physical cd. Else, try the passthrough option.
