anyway i installed fedora 9(KDE) on my ubuntu8.04 host,
normal screen res is 1440 x 900 widescreen. I have not installed additions yet and I am finding it very hard to, mainly due to not having any OS to work with... see picture for details..
fedora vm screen resolution is about 2200 x 1900(or there abouts 2/3rds bigger), yet inside the guest os it states it as 800x600.
so i only see a fraction of the guest OS.
I can not get the window to adjust so it fits into a nice little package on my desktop (or at least so it's the same size as my desktop), if anyone has any info about resizing or this bug ?
thanks
EDIT: i tried the gnome version iso as well and get the same problem.
I'm not interested in prior versions due to wanting to setup my own OS live USB. or really ill be using it as a portable OS.
I have tried changing host screen reso, disabling desktop effects... thats about it, on the KDE system which is idealy what i want to use i have no apps or anything because i only see the top left hand side of window, and on gnome i have some access but can't figure it out...
also in this picture it looks like i have scrollbars but they are actually greyed out and can not be used.
