Whoa... Wait a minute... What does this mean? That if your device isn't connected within X amount of time it goes ...silent? It sleeps? Stops existing? And what's "X amount of time", how much is "X"?
As you see I'm in charge of the USB FAQ, which is a live document. So, if there's another "weird" case to be added, please help me understand what was going on with that device. Speaking of, I don't even know what kind of device we're dealing with here. Please share some of the details...

Great! Marking as [Solved].

The device is a Godox TT685 camera flash.
It appears to go into power save mode at 20 seconds, and to sleep at around 80 seconds.
It connects via a micro USB port:

Let me know of anything else you need.

A camera
flash? They have a freaking
firmware now? What's this world coming to? What's next, an IPv6 for the flash?

Oh wow! No kidding you couldn't find it! I can understand the power-savings-mode, but I think that this is a little bit overboard.

Nope, all set, thank you. I don't think I'll update the FAQ after all. This is such an extreme case, such a unique case, that I don't think we're going to run into something like that any time soon...
