Hi gang, I'm a recent convert to Vbox from Parallels for many many years. Just use it for one Windows finance app that I can't get anything near on the Mac. Vbox works much better than Parallels - running Windows 10 - much faster, simpler and starts up quick. Just upgraded my Mac to Mojave and since then if I create an alias to my Xbox VM on the desktop, when I run it, it opens with Parallels. Can't see how to get it to open with Vbox. Looking at the shortcut it's pointing to the right Vbox VM file but the Mac wants to open it with Parallels. Any ideas how to change it to open with Vbox?
Thanks
Jason

Re: Vbox alias opens Parallels
Did you actually create an alias to the VM, or to the hard disk? How exactly did you create the alias? Did you use VirtualBox's built-in mechanism, as in right-click on the VM » "Create Alias on Desktop"?jnoble100 wrote:if I create an alias to my Xbox VM on the desktop, when I run it, it opens with Parallels
