Hi everybody.

Anybody know how can i run a windows guest program at main monitor and other windows guest program at second monitor?

I'm using xrandr with main monitor at 1280x800 and second monitor at 1280x1024.

Drag the window to the second monitor and maximize it? What did you try, what doesn't work? Please read the Forum Posting Guide and give the information we need.

Sorry... will try to explain more about my problem.

I don't have problem to run WindowsXP Guest on the main monitor or on the second monitor. As you have said I can just drag the VirtualBox window to the second monitor and maximize it. It's perfect.

My problem:

I'm using PCad software for develop electronic board. The PCad has two programs that are integrated (PCB and SCH) and I need to use both together. When I make some changes at PCB program the SCH is automatic updated. So I want to put the PCB program on the main monitor and the SCH program on the second monitor. Both program running on same Windows Guest.

I tried to use in Seamless mode, but I'm unable to drag the program from the main monitor to the second monitor. I think is because the screen resolution on Windows Guest.

Main monitor resolution: 1280x800
Second monitor resolution: 1280x1024
Virtual size at xorg.conf: 2560x1024

When i change to Seamless mode on main monitor the screen resolution on Windows Guest is set to 1280x800, than when i drag the program to the monitor limit, it does not appear in another monitor.

I think if change the Windows Guest screen resolution to 2560x1024, will be possible to drag the program to another monitor.

Has anyone ever done this before?

What you need is described in the Manual. Section 9.6 covers it nicely.
